MokroTik has developed wireless routers since 1995. RouterOS is a Linux-Based router operating system. With many different configurations, Mikrotik offers routers for any ISP, LAN, or WAN project. MikroTik was founded in 1995 to develop and sell wireless ISP systems. MikroTik now provides wireless ISP systems for Internet connectivity in many countries around the world - some locations are Iraq, Kosovo, Sri Lanka, Ghana and many others. Our installation experience in Latvia has prepared us for other similar environments in the former Soviet Union and developing world. Our experience in using industry standard PC hardware has developed into the MikroTik v2 PC routing software system that provides extensive stability, controls, and flexibility for all kinds of data interfaces and routing systems on a platform of standard PC parts. Our PC router software system supports various ISP applications from RADIUS modem pools to DS3 backbone circuits.
